Question one: What do I want my retirement to look like? What do I want my retirement to look like? Think about what you want to do in retirement. You need to know where you’re going before you can create a financial plan to get there.
Question two: How much do I need to retire? How much do I need to retire? The amount you need depends on your situation and what your vision for retirement looks like.

A woman will need more than $214,000.
This doesn’t include money to cover long-term care, which more than half the people aged 65 or older today may require. So you may want to consider long-term care insurance.
