Esquivel Appointed at Mutual of Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. (Jan. 4, 2022) – Lupe Esquivel has been appointed Head of Property and Casualty Underwriting at Mutual of Omaha. She oversees the underwriting business and ensures proper pricing and selection of risks are developed with sound and effective underwriting policies and practices. Esquivel also monitors the issuance process to ensure policyowner, wholesaler and general agent requests are being handled and within established quality and time service requirements.

Esquivel joined Mutual of Omaha in November 2021. Before joining Mutual, she was underwriting director of entertainment at ProSight Specialty Insurance. Before that, she was director of programs at Knightbrook Insurance Company.

Esquivel earned a bachelor’s degree from California State University and a master’s degree from the University of Phoenix. She holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation.
