Mutual of Omaha is seeking an Associate Marketing Project Manager to ensure on-time delivery of projects, refine processes, facilitate daily standups within the Agile framework and maintain the reliability, productivity and efficiency of the team. In this role you will facilitate the overall planning, design, execution and delivery of small to medium projects and intermittent stages of larger projects across the company’s marketing efforts. WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary: $66,500 - $75,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Manage the overall planning, execution, and delivery of projects including the definition of project charters, budgets and measures, as well as developing project structures and ensuring proper operations. 

  • Track project status and manage project issues and risks including the evaluation of progress/quality/costs and developing action plans to address gaps throughout the project life cycle. 

  • Build and lead effective project teams and foster strong sponsor, stakeholder, vendor, customer and team relationships. 

  • Manage projects that implement new solutions or enhance existing solutions, spanning several disciplines including development, programming, implementation, compliance and information management. 

  • Executes project management processes and industry best practices from inception to delivery including building and executing a project plan, monitoring and controlling project tasks, managing scope/resources/risks, ensuring quality control, and maintaining effective communication while monitoring and controlling project costs. 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 3+ years of project management experience in marketing including managing project planning, execution and delivery, analysis and problem resolution.   

  • Experience in Adobe Workfront required.  

  • Excellent verbal and written communication including strong presentation and facilitation experience 

  • Customer focus including experience fostering strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring effective collaboration with all levels of the organization including individual contributors to leadership. 

  • Proven experience clearing roadblocks, resolving conflicts and negotiating issues to resolution.

  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.

  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

  • SAFe Scrum Master certification. Experience leading and facilitating Scrum events and ceremonies, removing impediments, and educating/ensuring teams follow Agile principles. 

  • CAPM certification (Certified Associate in Project Management).  

  • Insurance industry experience.
