Lovette Appointed at Mutual of Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. (April 26, 2022) – Tammy Lovette has been appointed Vice President and Medical Director at Mutual of Omaha. She provides medical expertise in the evaluation of an insured’s functional capacity via medical record reviews and discussions with business partners.

Lovette joined Mutual of Omaha in 2022. Before joining Mutual, she was a medical consultant at Unum. Before that, Lovette was a staff physician at the Rome Veterans Affairs Clinic in Georgia, and the Biloxi Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Mississippi, and a clinic physician at Carilion Health Systems.

Lovette earned a bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University and an M.D. from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She did a general surgery internship and family medicine residency at Carilion Health Systems. Lovette is a board-certified physician through the American Board of Family Medicine.
